Ashley is dedicated to providing a compassionate place for individuals, families, and couples to experience hope and restoration in their lives and relationships. Ashley partners with her clients on the therapeutic journey as they seek to navigate life’s difficulties. Ashley is curious and open, striving to listen carefully to each individual’s experience and creatively collaborate with clients to reach their goals. Ashley’s desire is for people to experience reconciliation in their relationships and courage to live life to its fullest.

Ashley grew up in Iowa and attended the University of South Dakota, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology, followed by attending Denver Seminary, where she obtained her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ashley’s additional experience in marriage and family therapy at Denver Family Institute, resulted in a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Certified Facilitator of PREPARE/ENRICH, an evidence-based assessment tool for pre-marital and couples counseling. While in Colorado, she co-facilitated a support group for survivors of childhood sexual abuse through the WINGS Foundation. Ashley has also worked as a school-based therapist for children in the community and she has extensive experience counseling children, adolescents, families, and couples. As a Licensed Associate Counselor, Ashley currently practices under the supervision of Dr. John Michael and Dr. Raymond Branton at Professional Counseling Associates while working toward full professional licensure.

Ashley utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities for helping clients depending on individual need. She primarily addresses issues from a family systems perspective combined with narrative, experiential, and attachment-based interventions. Through her seminary training, Ashley is also able to provide professional, Christian counseling to those who desire this emphasis.

Ashley loves to spend time with her husband, family, and friends and pursue her hobbies of watercolor painting and cooking. She loves to read, try new foods, and spend time exploring the outdoors.
