Billie graduated with her Master of Counseling degree from Phoenix Seminary and is now a Licensed Associate Counselor working towards full professional licensure under the supervision of Dr. Ray Branton and Dr. John Michael. Billie has gathered professional experience in helping children, adolescents, and families within the DCS/foster/adopt systems to heal from broken attachments and deep trauma wounds. Billie’s counseling practice also aims to help couples and families heal from strained relationships, including women who have suffered from various forms of abuse. In helping adults, adolescents, and children through the difficulties of life, Billie has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience to travel alongside those that are hurting and need encouragement and hope.
Billie utilizes a variety of modalities for helping, including but not limited to, EMDR, attachment theory, and the Gottman Method. She will consider helping you where help is needed through a sensitive, empathic therapeutic relationship, she hopes to create a safe environment for you to work through thoughts, feelings, and emotions in order to lead you to more healthy and productive life-decisions, and solid relationships.
She is deeply involved in church activities, and loves to spend time with her husband, her four adult children and five grandchildren. She enjoys being outdoors, going to the woods, and traveling within and out of the country.
