A native Arizonan, Kelly received a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University in 2006, with a focus on marriage & family systems therapy. Motivated by her personal experience of raising a son with profound challenges, Kelly founded Resilient Relationships, LLC, facilitating workshops for couples who have children with special healthcare needs on topics such as creating and maintaining healthy relationships, keeping healthy boundaries, and workshops for fathers. In 2010 she joined the staff as an independent contractor at Deer Valley Counseling, and in 2015 she joined the practice at Professional Counseling Associates.
Kelly provides individual, marriage, and family counseling, utilizing family systems, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavioral approaches for issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, and specializes in marriage counseling for couples raising children with healthcare challenges.
Kelly and her husband, Ray, have been married since 1986, and have two sons. They are members of Shiloh Community Church in Phoenix, where she enjoys her involvement in the Worship Ministry.
