Annalee earned her Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling at Phoenix Seminary, after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Minor in Biblical Studies at Grand Canyon University. She previously worked at the Meadows, both in the direct support of clients as a behavioral health tech, and on the clinical team for the Willow House campus. She also has experience with teen girls in foster care in the group home setting.
Annalee is committed to helping people experience healing and growth through counseling. She is dedicated to helping her clients sort through their histories in a safe and caring way to address trauma, family of origin issues, and current life circumstances. Annalee enjoys offering her clients a safe place to ask questions, challenge change, and to help them figure out the next steps in new chapters of life. She considers it an honor to enter into a caring counseling relationship with clients as each explores his or her own unique story.
Annalee works from an integrated perspective that considers the mind, body, and spirit. She utilizes a range of modalities including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Post-induction Therapy (PIT or Meadows Model) and attachment theory, as these modalities offer effective evidence-based approaches that support the individual on his or her route to change. Since each individual’s needs are different, Annalee’s eclectic style allows her to work with a variety of populations and tailor her approach to meet each client’s goals.
Away from work, Annalee enjoys being outside with her Australian Shepherd, kayaking and traveling. She enjoys playing board games with friends and most recently, planning her upcoming wedding.
