Jason is an EMDR trained therapist and earned his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Phoenix Seminary. Jason also has a BS in Journalism from the University of Illinois. He held a certification in Wellness Coaching as while working in the industry for over a decade. Jason believes strongly that achieving wholeness starts with a strong spiritual foundation combined with a commitment to one’s physical health.
Jason is highly competitive and to date he’s completed 13 Ironman triathlons. He enjoys working with individuals on a variety of issues including addictive disorders, grief, trauma, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. Jason also has a long history of working with adolescents through his time spent as a high school wrestling coach and as a leader in sports ministries. He highly values being genuine, respectful, transparent, and thoughtful. Jason believes that God has created people with amazingly resilient spirits, which allows them the opportunity to receive full restorative healing.
Jason’s life has been impacted greatly from his own struggles with a personal past that includes addictive behavior and traveling through to healing. He has used his powerful story of redemption to help lead and encourage others to do the same. Jason is a resident of Gilbert, where he and his wife Grace are the proud parents of their two children, Jacob and Hannah.
