Counseling Intern

Jason is completing his Master of Clinical Health Degree at Grand Canyon University. He is a “second career” counselor after having spent twenty years in aerospace business management. Jason holds a BS in Business Management from Johns Hopkins University and a BS Accounting from the University of Maryland. He served in the US Navy and has lived in 14 different states throughout his life.

Jason has been dedicated in helping couples thrive through church ministries and non- profit organizations for the past 15 years, and is working with couples and individuals at Professional Counseling Associates. His passion for healthy and happy couples stems from Jason’s childhood experiences. Jason believes strongly that healthy relationships rely heavily on great self-care for the individual, and the willingness for spouses to commit to win-win partnering no matter the circumstance.

Jason is a world traveler and has had many opportunities to experience many cultures. Jason has been married to his wife, Angel, since 2006 and both have been committed to repeatedly “return to the table” to work through conflicts in a safe and open way. He is committed to helping people through the same process in the counseling relationship.
