A native Arizonan, Kelly received her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University in 2006, with a focus on marriage and family systems therapy. Motivated by her personal experience of raising a son with profound challenges, Kelly founded Resilient Relationships, LLC which promotes and facilitates workshops for couples who have children with special healthcare needs. The focus includes teaching and training on topics such as creating and maintaining healthy relationships, keeping healthy boundaries, and workshops for fathers. In 2010 she joined the staff as an independent contractor at Deer Valley Counseling, and in 2015 she joined the practice at Professional Counseling Associates.
Kelly provides individual, marriage, and family counseling, utilizing family systems, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavioral approaches for issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and addictions. Kelly specializes in marriage counseling for couples raising children with healthcare challenges and special needs. Kelly primarily works out of the Scottsdale office location.
Kelly and her husband, Ray, have been married since 1986, and have two sons.
