Mindelle earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Southwest Baptist University. Before joining PCA, she was a technology and education professional in the Arizona community college system. With over 25 years of experience walking alongside students, adults, and families in educational and ministry settings, Mindelle has a passion to equip clients to reach their full potential in building a purposeful and resilient life. She considers it a privilege to help clients heal from their emotional wounds so they can develop a strong sense of self, manage stresses effectively, and create lasting, meaningful relationships that bring them joy.

Mindelle works with children, teens, young adults, couples, and families. She has experience working with clients suffering from trauma, abuse, PTSD, grief, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and identity issues, relationship conflicts, stage of life transitions, chronic illnesses, stress, and career burnout. As a former church ministry leader, she has the unique experience in helping clients process through spiritual issues and conflicts to help people grow in their faith journey.

Mindelle approaches therapy within a holistic and systems view. She provides Integrative Psychotherapy using a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy framework integrating a variety of interventions and conceptualization from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experience, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Adaptation, Learning styles, and Neurobiology of Trauma.

Mindelle has been married to Aaron for over 20 years and is a mom to three amazing young adults. Mindelle enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, learning and trying new things, visiting farmer’s markets, and being out in nature. Mindelle and Aaron met at, and continue to serve at First Baptist Church of Tempe.
