I am passionate about helping my clients confront challenging issues in their lives with grace and compassion. I have experience working with military and first responders and have a passion for working with these individuals as a first responder’s wife myself.
I also work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, self-worth and identity, eating disorders, depression, and trauma. I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), which is a powerful tool to treat these issues. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Gottman. I am a 200 RYT- yoga instructor and can implement yoga into the treatment process when needed.
I believe unresolved pain from one's past can get in the way of a healthy relationship with God, self, and other people. If a client chooses, I work from a faith-based perspective. I have personally experienced Jesus using my own brokenness to free and heal me.
I work with adolescents, teenagers, and adults. I desire to create a safe place for individuals seeking therapy for the first time. My approach is empathetic, encouraging, and non-judgmental!
When I am not with clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children! My education journey includes a Bachelor’s Degree from Creighton University and a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
